Privacy Policy

PWR Hour (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a business based in Alberta, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through itspwrhour.com (the “Site”), why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. We are subject to Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

1. What we collect

At this stage, the Site is a coming-soon page. The only personal information we collect is:

  • Email address — when you submit the waitlist form. You provide this voluntarily.
  • IP address — logged automatically by our servers for security purposes (rate-limiting abuse of the signup endpoint). We do not store IP addresses persistently or link them to your email.

We do not use tracking pixels, third-party analytics, or advertising cookies on this Site.

2. Why we collect it and our legal basis

We collect your email address for one purpose: to send you marketing communications about PWR Hour products, including early access to Drop 001 and future drops.

Under CASL, we require your express consent before sending commercial electronic messages. By submitting the waitlist form, you are giving that express consent at the point of submission — your address is added to our list immediately, with no separate confirmation step. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see Section 6).

3. How we store your information

Your email address is stored as a customer record in Shopify (Shopify Inc., 150 Elgin Street, Ottawa, Ontario). Shopify acts as our data processor. Their servers may be located in the United States or other jurisdictions outside Canada. By submitting your email, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred and stored outside Canada.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Shopify — our e-commerce platform and customer data processor (described above).
  • Email service providers — if we use a third-party platform (such as Shopify Email or a dedicated email marketing tool) to send you messages, that provider will process your email address on our behalf. We will update this policy when such a provider is added.
  • Law or safety — if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of PWR Hour or others.

5. How long we keep it

We retain your email address for as long as you remain on our marketing list, or until you ask us to delete it. If you unsubscribe, we will suppress your address (rather than delete it) to ensure we do not accidentally re-add you in the future.

6. Your rights

Under PIPA and CASL, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Withdrawal of consent — unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe” in any email we send, or by emailing us directly (see Section 7). Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of messages sent before withdrawal.
  • Deletion — request that we delete your personal information, subject to any legal retention obligations.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Site grows — for example, when we add product pages, a shopping cart, or new service providers. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top when we do. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
